AFTER THE ECHO is an original rock music project based out of Brooklyn, NY.

The genesis of the group was the meeting of songwriters Scott Tofte (vocals, guitars, drums) and Chris Kelly (keyboards, bass, vocals) in the NYC session musician scene. They quickly bonded over a shared love of New Wave and Synth Pop bands like The Cure, Tears For Fears, The Police, and Peter Gabriel. After enlisting longtime friend and musical collaborator Chris Flanigan (guitars, vocals), they released their self-titled debut in early 2020, followed by a string of singles in 2021/2022.  

 

With additional influences ranging from the guitar-rock of Foo Fighters and Smashing Pumpkins to the exquisite vocal harmony of The Eagles and The Beach Boys, After The Echo's rock and roll sound is rooted in the familiar yet refreshingly modern.
