Christopher Crosby off to Chicago, departed from Madison town

For Second City and witty forays he was bound

Luck o’ the Irish and Catholic tradition instilled to keep him upright

He shouldered the load of the world like the old Canaanite.

When he threw his weight around, he played the clown

Much to our delight

Christopher Crosby, hailed for his humor and side-splitting specialty work

Had his Faith, but his funny drew money & calls from New York

Chris was ecstatic. He split for Manhattan, debuting on Saturday Night

Talent for days, he and Swayze, the future looked bright

Let’s call a spade a spade, he had it made

Much to our delight

Remember when you were a Superfan?

Do you remember that time? That place? That was awesome.

Dressed in drag, Cracking up everyone around you

So let’s hear three cheers for Christopher.

Christopher Crosby, the patron saint of pratfalls & physical jest

It had to be seen on the screen, so he travelled out west

The know-it-all cynics scoffed at the picture, and told him his acting was trite

But Chris and David would save it and make out alright

And while the critics panned, it thrilled his fans.

Much to our delight

Remember when you were a Callahan?

Do you remember that time? That place? That was awesome.

Big Tom’s Son, Cracking up everyone around you

So let’s hear three cheers for Christopher.

Get a load of Hollywood, he’s up to no good.

Much to our delight.

Remember when you lived in Japan?

That time? That place? That was awesome.

The Great White Ninja, cracking up everyone around you

Remember when you lived in a van down by the river?

That time? That place? That was awesome.

I realize now I’ve spent most of my life without you

So let’s hear three cheers for Christopher.

So let’s hear three cheers for Christopher.

Remember when you were Christopher

*Brandon wrote the majority of this tune as a tribute to Chris Farley. We were camping in Canada when we sat down together to finish it off. I contributed lyrics to the choruses and a few other lines and words here and there.
